Women’s Ministry at Faith Community Bible Church exists to glorify God by pointing every woman’s heart to the all-satisfying person of Jesus Christ.
We believe women of the Word pray together, care for one another, and serve with joy and purpose. Women’s Ministry seeks to support the mission of FCBC by helping women grow toward spiritual maturity through God’s Word, prayer, discipleship, and Christ-centered relationships.
We pursue this through Bible studies, mentoring relationships, and gatherings that build genuine community within the body of Christ. Our desire is to see the women of FCBC love God, serve others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ, always as an extension of the broader church, not a substitute for Sunday worship, Life Groups, or the many connection and service opportunities God provides within our congregation (Ephesians 4:11–16). If you'd like to learn more about our core values, scroll to the bottom of the page.

CONNECT
If you’d like to learn more, we’d love to walk alongside you. If you'd like to serve in Women's Ministry, please fill out our serve form. Email Christy with any questions or to set up a time to connect.

Each year, Women’s Ministry gathers around a steady rhythm of connection and growth. We host larger events each January and August, as well as a Spring Retreat. Throughout the year, we offer seasonal gatherings, quarterly Single Women Connect opportunities, and relaxed Summer Park Days.

Each fall and spring, we gather for a ten-week Bible study designed to help us grow in our love for God and confidence in His Word. We learn to apply the Gospel to everyday life, encourage one another in faith, and grow in fellowship as part of the body of Christ.

Mentoring groups meet once a month to study God’s Word and offer biblically grounded encouragement within loving, supportive relationships. Email Christy for more information.
Annual Events
Larger events throughout the year offer opportunities for women to connect across seasons of life, build meaningful relationships, and find encouragement in their walk with Christ. These gatherings are designed to strengthen our sense of community, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and remind us that we grow best when we grow together.
SWC - Single Women Connect
Quarterly lunches for single ladies will be held in 2026 (March, June, September, and December) on Sundays after second service in the Activity Room. These gatherings are intended to foster connection, provide meaningful care, and recognize the important and valued role single women hold within the body of Christ.
Park Days
An opportunity for moms to connect! Park Days happen in June and July and are for moms with park-aged children, as well as women who'd like to support and encourage moms with young kids. Various dates and locations, including Kleiner, Molenaar, and Merrill Park.
Together at the Table
A fellowship opportunity where women can connect over good food and rich conversation. In 2026, we'll meet together in March, July, and October. If you’re new to FCBC and would like to get connected, or if you’ve been at the church for years and are looking to build some new relationships, reserve your seat!
Mentoring Groups
Small groups of 3-5 women meet once a month, from fall through spring, in various homes to provide biblically based guidance within the context of loving, supportive relationships. The shared aim is growth in Christlikeness as women encourage, love, and care for one another.
Discipling Groups
The purpose of Rooted Discipleship Groups is to provide intentional space for women to deepen their faith through Word-focused, Gospel-centered instruction, so that they grow more Christlike, desire to share Jesus with others, and impact the spiritual vitality of the church, cultivate community, and inspire outreach.
Theology Cohorts
Summer cohorts are offered for 4-5 weeks. Each is designed to grow our love for God and to equip us for Gospel conversations.
Connection Team
This vibrant community of women helps new women find their place in the local church. They create opportunities for connection through small gatherings throughout the year.
Annual Retreats
Once a year, we set aside time to step away from our regular routines to be refreshed by spending concentrated time in God's Word and in his creation. Join us in 2026 (April 17-19) at Trinity Pines in Cascade for Awe & Wonder.

Women's Ministry at FCBC
Our Foundation
Women's Bible studies, discipleship, prayer, & events are centered on the inerrant Word of God, the great foundation of our faith.
Prayer
God’s Word readies our hearts to come humbly before Him, recognizing His worthiness & His faithful provision for every need.
Discipleship
Through studying the Bible and prayer, we seek to be disciples who practically apply the Word to every day life & proclaim God's truth to others.
Servant's Heart
Our God-given gifts and talents are best utilized when surrendered to God's will, submitted to our governing elders, & exercised in alignment with ministry philosophies. Love God, Love People.
Relationships
God kindly places us into a community of believers meant to shape, sharpen, & comfort us with the Holy Spirit's help. Meaningful connection is the overflow of maturing in our relationship with Christ.
Ministry Vision
Know Jesus as Savior and Lord, & become known in the local church. Grow in relationships with Jesus and others. Go make Jesus known, serving others at FCBC and the community in love.
